Scrapbook Ideas For A Beach Vacation

Most people would stick with blues and sandy colours when putting together beach vacation scrapbook ideas however any avid scrapbook enthusiast will know that when it comes to creating scrapbook pages you do not have to stick to the norm.

I have come across many beach vacation scrapbook ideas where bright vivid colours have been used and have worked really well. Coming up with new scrapbook ideas and trying different things can sometimes be the key to creating some truly original and wonderful page layouts.

This is one of my favourite beach vacation scrapbook layout ideas. The bright colours used to create the chairs together with the shell and the beach huts really make this page stand out. I have also used funky coloured brads and flip flops made out of funky foam for a 3D effect.

Here is another one of my beach vacation scrapbook ideas. Because the picture in this layout is the focal point I have used softer colours so the photo doesn’t get lost in amongst many accessories and embellishments. 

One of the best tips I could give you when putting together your vacation scrapbook ideas is never to overload a page with too many pictures. Spend some time looking through all the ones you have from the day and select just one or two photos that you like. Use only the best photos rather than smothering a page with lots of pictures that are the same. By using fewer photos on your scrapbook pages you will be left with a lot more space to decorate, embellish and add your scrapbook sayings and quotes.
