Scrapbooking Layout Ideas - Little Boy
Sometimes using pastel colours on a scrapbook page gives your photo the chance to really come to life as pastel colours are neutral and will blend into the background, leaving your photo as the main focus point.

Here a single sheet of pastel 12×12 scrapbook paper has been used for the background and a corresponding piece of scrapbook paper has been cut into a smaller shape where the photo has been mounted. As you can see the combination of stripes and check work well together even though they may not be the first choice of combinations that would immediately spring to mind.

Along the edge of the paper square eyelets have been placed to give the scrapbook page an embellished look. Ribbon that matches the scrapbook paper has been tied through the holes of the eyelets making it look detailed but simple.

The tag has been used for journaling. Journaling is an informative way to explain exactly what is happening on your scrapbook pages. It is a great way to keep account of the dates, times and places of an event or happy time you are showing on the scrapbook page. Here paper that matches the rest of the page has been used to decorate the tag along with the same ribbon that was used along the edge of the paper where the photo has been placed.
