This is one of my favorite scrapbooking page ideas and is quite simple to put together. I think it has a natural and mystical feel to it.

This particular scrapbooking page idea has been created using two sheets of scrapbook paper. The maroon color card is a Brazil piece of 12 x 12 card stock, which if you do not have in your srcapbooking supplies you can buy from most craft shops or online.

Brazil card has a texture to it that you can physically see and feel. I use it in many of my scrapbooking page ideas as it is one of my personal favorites. The second sheet is a patterned sheet of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper that has been torn down one edge and placed onto the Brazil card.

The flowers are known as prima flowers. These are very versatile as you can easily change the color of them by using an ink pad. This means that you can change them to correspond with any scrapbook page layout.

If you are going to change the color of these flowers I would recommend purchasing white ones as they will be the easiest to modify and you will not have to worry about other colors showing through.

Brads have been used, not only make up the centre of the flower, but also as a way of attaching the flower to the paper. This saves you using messy glues or worrying that the flower may fall off.

The swirl effect is created using pre cut grunge. Grunge board can come in all shapes, sizes and styles. Like the prima flowers, you can color the grunge board to match your scrapbooking page ideas. In this case twinkling H2Os have been used. These are lovely solid paints that come to life after a few squirts of water. These paints have a beautiful sheen and can also contain glitter. They are really effective and pretty and give a magical, mystical feel to your page.

The photo has been mounted onto the remainder of the 12 x 12 scrapbook page that had been torn earlier. You could always ink the edges so they blend in, however I think the white looks nice in this instance.
