Most people describe the feeling when a baby first starts moving as a bubbly sensation hence this scrapbooking page ideas bubble theme.
The scan photo is obviously the focal point of the scrapbook page and is prominent because it is a dark colour which is set on a lighter background.
The wording has been drawn from a stencil and cut using sharp scissors. The words have them been mounted onto yellow card.
To create the sparkly edge around the words I used a glue pen and some stardust powder. You could also use glitter or glitter glue but always make sure it is properly dry before fixing it to the actual page.
I used 3D foam to attach the wording to the scrapbooking page layout to emphasise it even more.
The main photo has been mounted onto white card to give it a solid border and placed behind some of the bubbles on the page.
To make the bubbles coordinate with the wording above, I also added a touch of the stardust powder to the edges.
Some of the information from the scan such as the size of the baby and estimated due date have also been placed inside one of the bubbles. You should always have some sort of journaling in your scrapbooking page ideas to depict what is happening in the photos.
A length of organza ribbon has been placed down one side of the page to hang the tag on.
Organza is a thin, plain weave, sheer fabric traditionally made from silk. It is perfect for scrapbooking as it comes in a wide range of colours and widths.
The tag that has been cut using a sizzix machine. It also has stardust powder around the edge of it to correlate with the wording, and the bubbles. Information about the third month of pregnancy has also been placed on the front of the card.
A sun eyelet has been used where the ribbon has been passed through. The sun works well with the yellow background of this particular scrapbook page.
Although this scrapbooking page layout does not have many embellishments on it, in this case it is sufficient as sometimes less is more.
Because the gender of the baby is not known it is best to stick with pastel colours that are non specific. If however, you do know the gender of your baby you can decorate the scrapbooking page with traditional coloured scrapbooking embellishments associated with either a boy or girl such as blue or pink.
