Free Scrapbook Layouts - Soup In A Roll
This scrapbooking page idea is fun and quite girly. Although the actual photograph is of a young girl enjoying food the papers and embellishments that have been used to create this scrapbook page idea are not food orientated. They do however suit the girl in the picture perfectly.
Many people associate the color pink with a girl so this mixture of pinks and browns is not only ideal for a page with a girl on it, but the browns make it more suitable for an older girl.
The photo, which is the focal point, has been placed in the centre of the scrapbook page layout. In this case it has been tucked behind a strip of scrapbook paper to make it appear to be holding the photograph in place.
The tags that have been placed in the corner of the scrapbook page have been cut from a sizzix machine. You can buy tags pre cut or use a template, but a sizzix machine will cut a perfect shape with ease and the edges will be neat and clean.
A small strip of matching scrapbook paper has been placed at the bottom of each of the tags so that it corresponds with the background paper. Some pink ribbon has also been placed through the hole that has been punched using a cropadile.
To attach the tags to the scrapbook page different colored nappy pins have been used, which gives the effect of the tags hanging. The nappy pins have been placed through the background paper.
You can use these tags to add additional wording and journaling including the date and place where the picture has been taken.
Metal embellishments are a great way of giving a scrapbook page layout additional texture other than the flat feeling of paper. Purple flower shape brads have been used to secure the metal embellishments to the page.
This circle embellishment has some wording that has been hand written in the centre. Some ribbon has been placed through directly through the embellishment and a flower brad has been used to hold it in place.
When creating any type of scrapbook page always ensure that any product you use is both acid and lignin free. Using products that are not could result in deterioration over a certain length of time. It really does not pay to cut costs on your scrapbook album, so make sure you are using the recommended sleeves to hold your papers in place to ensure they do not become damaged over time and are secure in the album.
Furthermore store your albums in a cool dry place away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
