Scrapbooking page Ideas - Wedding Day
This is a really quick and easy scrapbooking page idea for a wedding scrapbook. As this ceremony was not a traditional church wedding you can use any colour you wish. In this case I have selected various scrapbook papers from my craft supplies that are blue, brown and beige in colour.
The background is a pale blue 12 x 12 piece of scrapbook paper. Because the paper was not double sided I placed a second diamond sheet of scrapbook paper behind the blue one, and also attached a small amount on the back corner of the blue sheet of paper. This can all be avoided if you use double sided scrapbook paper.
You will need to carefully fold the corner of the paper over and use a brad to hold it in place. It is worth using a larger size brad as it will also work as an embellishment.
The brad I used was brown and cream in colour so matched the scrapbook papers perfectly. You may decide to use a different colour or shape depending on the colors of the papers you have used. I used a pokey tool to make the hole for the brad to go through.
The photo, which is of course, the focal point of the page, has been mounted on the same diamond paper that was placed behind the main page.
Again you will want to use the same paper you have used to create your scrapbook page so that it corresponds. I have attached the photograph using double sided tape however if you wanted to make the picture 3D you could use 3D foam pads.
Because all the colors of the papers are pale I decided to mount the photo onto a dark brown card so that its stands out. I placed the picture in the centre of the scrapbook page so that the corner folds onto the photograph.
The tag is cut from similar paper, and some brown organza ribbon has been used. I placed an eyelet on the tag first to ensure that the ribbon did not cause the tag to tear.
It is always a good idea to add some information from the event such as the date or where the event took place. Here I have used stickers to make a record of the date the wedding took place.
The tag has been placed on the corner of the photograph using 3D foam.
Some pre made die cut stickers have also been used to finish the page off. These scrapbook stickers came with the paper so they match perfectly. It is however, really simple and easy to make you own and a great way to use up your scraps.
