Baby Scrapbooking Page Using Cheap Scrapbook Supplies
With amazing 3D scan technology these days many people have the option to know the sex of their child before he or she is born. In this case the baby is a girl so this baby scrapbooking page had been created with a pink theme.
The most important and the focal point of this scrapbooking page layout are of course the incredible scan photographs. These have been mounted on a pink bazzill cardstock. The frame the photos are mounted onto has been cut around the edge using decorative scissors to give it a fancy edge.
he background scrapbook paper is a pink fluffy towel with some stitching down one edge.
It is always nice to have some wording or information on your scrapbooking page. Here I have used an excerpt from a baby book which explains what is happening during this month of pregnancy. If you do not have this information to hand you can easily print this off via the internet. Alternatively you could simply handwrite your emotions and thoughts at this stage of your pregnancy.
A small incision has been made in the strip that is down the edge of the scrapbook page so that the tag can be tucked behind to hold it in place.
The tag its self has been jazzed up using an eyelet, some peel off scrapbook stickers and baby themed ribbon that has been passed through the eyelet.
Small baby themed peel off scrapbook stickers are a lovely addition and can really make the tag fit the theme of your layout.
To save time pre made embellishments have been placed down the edge of the scrapbook paper. It is always worth having a look through your craft supplies to see if there is baby themed embellishments that you can use or even better to make your own.
The embellishments I have used are of course pink in colour as the sex of the baby is already known. If you do not know the sex then yellows, greens, creams and lilacs are a good choice of colour to use.
The wording ‘month eight’ at the top of the page has been cut from pink bazzill card using a stencil. I used a glue pen to adhere the letters to the page as a glue pen is easy to control. Anything else could cause a mess if too much glue is used.
To ensure the lettering is straight I used a ruler to draw a guide line which I later rubbed out once the letters had been stuck down.
You should now be left with a beautiful baby scrapbook page to add to your precious memories of being pregnant. You can go on to add more embellishments and any memorabilia of the time in question to further personalise your scrapbooking page.
