As this scrapbook page layout has two smiling people on it I thought bright colours would fit the mood of the scrapbook page.

I began by finding this sheet of scrapbook paper in my scrapbook supplies. This page has two different patterns on the paper which can easily be made by using two different pieces of 12×12 paper.

 
I then found these two sheets of scrapbook paper which matched the colours being used.

 
I stuck the blue sheet to the rear side of the patterned paper using double sided tape.

I fixed the photograph to the blue side of the scrapbook paper and cut a large boarder around it.

I then folded the edge of the paper over onto the photograph and used a blue brad to hold it in place.

I repeated this with every corner of the scrapbook paper.

I used double sided tape and placed the mounted photograph onto the main scrapbook page.

I then had a look in my scrapbook supplies and dug out some chipboard letters. Although it is nice to use the same font, this scrapbook page idea is fun and bright so all the different colours and fonts work really well together.

I used sticky dots to secure these letters in place.

 
I wanted to add some information to the scrapbook layout so I found these tags.

I cut them all out and then mat and layered them onto blue and green card. The tags were made of paper so not only does the card give them a solid edge it will also strengthen them.

 
 
I wanted to add some ribbon to the card so I cut some lengths then decided to staple the ribbon to the tags. I used a permanent marker pen to colour the staples so that they looked a bit funkier and less formal.

 
      
It is down to you your own personal choice how may staples you use.

I also added some journaling to one of the tags so that the year the photo was taken would not be forgotten over time.

 
The tags were then placed onto the side panel of the scrapbooking page using 3d foam to raise them slightly and give them a prominent look.

 
A fun and vibrant scrapbooking page idea that is pretty straight forward to make. Most of the embellishments and wording you will probably already have spare in your scrapbook supplies so at the same time this scrapbook page layout is relatively inexpensive to create.
