Scrapbook ideas are easy to think up

if you already have the theme in mind which is pre determined by the event you wish to base your scrapbooking page layout on.

is both colourful and exciting. Although you may not have pictures of a boy looking like a tiger you could use the same layout for some photos of a tiger at the zoo.

It is always a good idea to draw or roughly layout out on a sheet of paper the design you are intending to follow and adapt it along the way if necessary.

Firstly, you will need to find a sheet of orange 12×12  scrapbook paper. I find bazzill paper is a good paper to use because it has a slight texture to it. It is also thicker than normal scrapbook paper so gives you a good base to start your page layout on.

To create the paw prints draw a paw print shape on some funky foam and cut it out using very sharp scissors so that the edges are neat.

Attach the pieces that make up the paw print to a clear block using a glue stick.

If you do not have a clear block stamp you can use the back of an existing stamp. The advantage to using a clear block stamp is the fact you can see through it and know exactly where your stamped images will go on the page.

Ink your custom made stamp with black ink and randomly place the paw prints over the scrapbook page as shown in the above photo.

Next, tear a strip of tiger print scrapbook paper the length of your 12×12 page so it fits from one corner to the other.

Attach the strip of paper across the page using double sided tape to hold it in place. At this point you may find you have covered up some of the paw prints and can now add additional ones paw prints if you wish.

Tear a piece of black cardstock into a rectangle and use white rub on stickers for your scrapbook quotes.

Place the wording in the bottom left hand corner of your page layout so using either double sided tape or 3d foam depending on if you want your quotes to be more prominent.

This scrapbook ideas layout can easily be adapted to suit any animal by simply changing the print on the paper. If the photographs are of a zebra use black and white print, if the photographs contain images of leopard change the paper to a leopard print and so on.
